Just a little about myself . I am Malandie W. aka: CHYNADAHL...to you! I
was born and bred in North Carolina. I grew up with an extremely tight family,
and an even more close community, grew up in the church as well. Most people
know me because of the fact that I also sing. I started singing in the church
when I was very young. Music has always been a deep love of mine outside of
fashion. As I got older, I got into more with the modeling, even though I had
done some small things at a very young age. I really got into fashion more so
because I wanted to bring a unique type of beauty to people.
I also wanted to find my own position so I could eventually help others.
Well, after I start getting more shows, and doing more competitions, I looked
into starting my own business, because I saw a need to help other up-and-coming
models and talent, to have a fresh start and not have to go through all the bad
apples I had to. I also, as a model wanted to change the image of the young
woman. Make her more wholesome, and less of just a sex object.....I have no
problem with models being sexy, but just selling yourself short and doing
whatever to get a break...that needs to change. Without the models, the
industry would suffer believe that!!! You make the rules..don't let them rule
you!!
I have currently been working on getting into more projects for myself and
also working on building both of my business. Go check out the links:

All and all I have had an eventful career so far, and I truly look forward
to doing even more. I also want to start my own home for homeless women and
children, as well as a house for rape and molestation victims, mainly young
adults and kids. I don't do what I do just for the money, my main concern is
having the ability to reach those in need through the work that I do, and give
people a positive situation to help them in their motivation of meeting their
dreams. In plain....help those who want to help themselves, motivate those that
may not have any motivation...and give love, hope, and knowledge, so that
people can pursue their dreams!!!
See that may be something that you didn't know!!!!
Well to begin, the whole model scene has taken me on quite the
journey. I not only experience things as a model/talent, but also as a business
owner. This business can deliver people crazy up and downs, but you have to
stay constant and you have to stay focused. I have had my own share of all
types of things, good ,bad, and ugly....I really feel like all and all
everything always works out in the end to benefit the person. You learn from
every lesson, and you learn better directions after getting lost enough.
I think that a lot of times people think that being a model is an easy job,
that it's a piece of cake, well I'm here to tell you it is not...you work hard
and you may get the chance to play hard. I have summed up some of the
experiences that I have had and if anything, I hope you get a good laugh, or at
least you learn something new in the process.
The craziest thing I have ever done?
I was hanging out one night with my younger sister and my God-brother, so we
where pretty bored and had just figured we needed to find something to do. So
we started playing a friendly game of truth or dare. At first everything was
going smooth, and we where passing time just fine, then out of no where my
god-brother says..."I DARE U TO RUN BUTT-NAKED DOWN THE STREET"!
Well, at first I just sat there and was like "No way...you do it", but after
awhile I say to him..."If you do it then, I will do it".
So, finally we come to a decision and we decide we will both do it. So I go
first......mind you, we are in the hood, and they're all types of people
walking down the street and there's a women's prison across the street....so
you gotta really be quick with it.....so I take off my shirt and bra, and stood
outside on the porch, with nothing on except my pajama pants....I think I stood
there for about 15 seconds, then I ran right up the driveway and back. So I got
in that house faster than the speed of light...
So now it's his turn. So he gets butt-naked....like he has on nothing at
all..absolutely NOTHING!!!! So he takes off out the door, runs up the driveway,
and when he gets back to the door.....guess what I do....I LOCK HIM OUT!!!!! he
was mad , I saw that vein pop out on his head, and he was screaming like a
little b$@&%!!! Me and my sister laughed so hard, and we could see people
outside starting to form a small crowd laughing at him too...he eventually got
in through a back window I had accidentally left unlock. He didn't speak to me
for a week. But boy was it fun....I love to pull pranks on the unprepared, it
gives me such joy.
I have also done a lot of other things that would be put into this category,
but a lot of those escapades will remain secret, you can never tell all your
secrets....what fun would that be!!!
Funny experiences:
1) Once when I was in a fashion show in north Carolina, I remember this
young lady who could not seem to walk correct in her heels. So I gave her some
pointers and just prayed that she would not have any mishaps during the event.
Well we where half way through the show when we had to line up for the 2ND to
last designer. So they begin to line us up and guess who they put in front of
me and one other model....yep you guessed it that "NON WALKING MODEL".
So I just focus on me and the runway. So I'm walking down and the young lady
is directly in front of me and behind the other young lady...as she gets closer
to the end of the runway I start to feel comfort...because then she'll be out
of my way....Well, I notice the tail of her gown begins to go under her feet,
and I see her start to stumble...she recovers the first time, but by the time
she gets to the end she stumbles and stops ....and just looses all her
balance....and falls right off the stage into the crowd!!!!! WOWWWWWW!!!!
You know what I did, I kept walking...... got to the end and posed, and saw
all the people trying to help her out, and I kept going....she was so
embarrassed, I was embarrassed for her, but I was glad in the end, she was
OK...that situation put new meaning too...runway madness!!!! We laughed about
it later, but it was not funny when it happened.
2) I was doing a competition in Virgina I think, and we had just got off the
stage so the next group of models and hair stylist could go up. I started to
walk to the area where the crowd was seated when I turned around to look back
at the stage and noticed something really weird....
I saw this model that kept leaning , and staggering, and just seemed like
she was straight up blind or something. So I went closer to the stage, and then
realized this chick wasn't hurt or blind...she was DRUNK! She had just went
right on the stage DRUNK as she could be... falling onto other models and about
to fall of the stage....the crowd was laughing because they thought it was a
act...but I and a few other people , notified the staff and they calmly shut
down the scene, and had her escorted off....cause she was indeed a "LAWSUIT IN
THE MAKING"....but of course who wouldn't want to see the latest in DRUNKEN
fashions!!!!
3) So I was in New Jersey for a event and was acting as a judge at this
particular event. So everything was going fine and I was on my way to get to
the lobby so I could go to the main ballroom. So me and my man jump into a
elevator to get downstairs. Well all is great and the elevator is smooth, we
get to like the 3rd floor and these models and I guess folks who are just
staying in the hotel get on. Well me and my man start to look at everyone, and
of course speak and exchange pleasantries, when all of a sudden this dude
just outright....passes gas...yep that right he FARTS!!!! So everyone is quiet
but he acts as if it was OK to fart and not excuse himself....so we have to
inhale his hazardous fumes, till we get to the bottom floor...oh and to top it
off his girlfriend, has this low shirt on and her nipple is just hanging out.
Wow!!!! first we get bombed like HIROSHIMA, and then we have to live through
NIPPLE-GATE all over...Just our luck!
Well I hope that you enjoyed your time with me and that if anything else you
learned , enjoy life, laugh at it and most of all...don't run naked, walk
crooked, fall over drunk, suffocate innocent people, and serve your body parts
to strangers. If you don't laugh at the simple things, it will be really hard
to get through the struggles. I have seen a lot and just made the best of it.
You should try it to.
Forever sexy and sassy ,Neva show'in the a$$y, your very own Chocolate.
