Boxers, Briefs and Bills: "Undie Run" Has Its Costs

A small private university faces a large bill from the City of Orange for police costs incurred in preventing students from climbing the town square's fountain during the school's annual "Undie Run."

Chapman College students have in the past decade picked up the tradition from bigger schools, and have shed most of their clothing in a communal, late-night romp to celebrate the end of semesters.

The last two Undie Runs have cost the City of Orange an undetermined amount for police overtime costs, and about $13,000 to repair a 71-year-old fountain in Town Plaza damaged during December's romp. And for this spring's Undie Run, a temporary fence was placed around the fountain at a cost of $6,000.

The Orange County Register reports that the university will get a bill for the overtime once the city accountants tally it up. Who pays for the fence and damaged fountain has yet to be determined.

"We have not received a bill yet, this is news to us," said Harold W. Hewitt Jr., the school's executive vice president and chief operating officer. He said the school "will stand by our commitment to pay the city's costs."

The December version of the run was a charity fundraiser, and the clothes that were stripped off by students were sold to benefit underfed people in Africa. Underwear with a map of Africa on it was sold to raise money.

Police said 1,500 students stripped down to their briefs or panties and bra and reveled in the town square's fountain in December

DADS and KIDS: 5 THINGS MEN CAN DO TO STAY INVOLVED

Jump in

Men are just as capable as women of loving and caring for children. But a lot of dads

worry that they don't know how to be a good parent or that they’ll do something wrong.

The truth is that being a good parent comes with practice. If you don't take the initiative,

you’ll never be able to assume the responsibilities that you really want to and that your

children deserve. So instead of letting your partner pluck your crying or smelly baby

from your arms, try something like, "No, honey, I can take care of this." And remember,

"quality time" is wonderful but “quantity time” is the foundation for good, close

relationships. So do everything you possibly can to make yourself more available.

Be yourself

Don't let anyone tell you that safely wrestling, bouncing on the bed, or other "guy things"

aren’t important. Dads and moms make different—but equally important—contributions

to their children’s development. Children with involved fathers do better in school and

have less chance of becoming teen parents or getting involved with drugs, alcohol, or

crime. They also manage their emotions better and are less likely to resort to violence.

Communicate

If your partner is reluctant to share parenting with you, don't take it too personally. Many

women have been raised to believe that if they aren't the primary caregiver they've

failed as mothers. Give her time to learn that you’re serious about wanting to be an

equal participant, and that you’re ready and able for the job.

Know your legal rights

Find out whether you're eligible for time off under the Family Medical Leave Act or some

other plan. But do yourself and your employer a favor: give everyone at work a few

months' notice so they’ll have time to get ready.

Stay involved after separation or divorce

Not being able to see your children as often as you'd like can make you angry, sad, and

frustrated. But never fade away. Make sure your kids know you'll always love them and

that the breakup was not their fault. Never badmouth their mother, and never use the

kids to deliver messages or spy on her. The better you get along with your ex the better

your kids will be able to cope. Finally, pay your child support. Not paying hurts your

children, not your ex. If she’s keeping you from seeing them or if you're having trouble

making payments, contact your lawyer or the local child support agency right away.

Comcast, NFL Network Make Strange Bedfellows

By  DAN STAMM

After years of bickering Comcast and the National Football League have reached an agreement to bring the NFL Network to millions of cable TV viewers.

The NFL Network will now be carried on Comcast's second-most popular digital cable tier, according to ESPN.com.

The deal ends a long battle between Comcast and the NFL that started in 2006 when Comcast put the NFL Network on an exclusive sports-programming tier. The Cable behemoth battled with the NFL over the price they wanted users to hike over for the NFL Network despite the channel only offering a handful of live games.

Pa. Sen. Arlen Specter even got involved after fans couldn't view a Patriots game a few years back.

Cable subscribers of course are going to have to pay up for the right to view exclusive NFL Network games on Thursday nights. It will cost an extra 40 to 50 cents per subscriber -- a number far less than the nearly 80 cents the NFL originally wanted from Comcast users, according to Philly.com.

The deal will not only give Comcast customers the NFL Network but also a new channel call the Red Zone that will jump between live Sunday NFL action as teams enter their opponent's red zone (inside the 20), reported to Philly.com.

So what was it like for Comcast to enter the ring with the NFL?

"I am very pleased," Brian Roberts, chief executive of Comcast, said in an interview. "Of course no one likes having a dispute with the NFL."

Looks are important, however, it is the inner being that is what really attracts me. Sexy round butt with gorgeous eyes...mmmm.

What type of man do you like?

I love a man that has a great sense of humor, witty, and very outgoing.

Are you the romantic laid back type or are you a wild child?

I am a little of both. I can be the laid back lady with a bottle of massage oil or I can be that freak that makes all of your fantasie come true.

Turn ons:

Tech made Sexy: Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn proves that women like her—the tomboy-gone-hot type—aren’t just more fun to hang out with: They’re also better partners, lovers, and friends. When other women are on the prowl during happy hour, the actress and host of the G4 cable network’s Attack of the Show! is likely bikini-clad in the barrel of a killer wave.

How do you woo adrenaline-seeking Athena types like Munn? The first requisite: Be humble. "Too many guys substitute being an asshole for being confident, or funny, or anything else," she says. "I love it when a guy admits he has no idea what he's doing." After you soften up, just say “Hi.” "I'll know if it's the right match from the beginning just by the feeling," she says. "And if a pickup line or a false compliment comes out of your mouth, you're dead in the water."

  • Spice things up. “When life is boring, sex is boring. It’s routine,” she says. Find new ways to make the same thing interesting, even if it means embracing your wild side.
  • Be spontaneous. There’s not always going to be a storybook scenario at your disposal. "Sometimes the best memories are made when everything goes wrong," Munn says.
  • Be passionate about something other than her. “I dated a man who loved guitar, and now I can pick out different parts of a song. Passion is contagious. If you open me up to new things, it makes me want you more.”

Where did you grow up?

Jamaica. I had the best childhood, the beach, the weather, the parties!! but school was hard!!

What's your favorite gadget?

That WAS my sidekick before I lost it, it is to me, what your black berry is to you now..

normally I'd be a tease and say my jack rabbit, but I don't own one [YET] lol ;)

How'd you get into modeling?

Actually, I was home bored and edited some pics and put them on myspace and got mad hits. I starting getting offers to do stuff, of course I didn't think they were legit until I went to a casting in NY, I didn't get the gig, but I met a lot of wonderful people who encouraged me along the way

So what have you learned NOT to do since you've been in the biz?

I've learned that the criticism is harsh and one should not take it personally, if you are weak it can break you and you have to be true to who you are always, these people are crazy, trying to change you and stuff...lol.

Where do you want to go with your modeling?

I want to take it as far as I can, ride the wave for however long and when it dies down start a new wave..

I wanna be on top, I wanna have a name like the Melyssa Fords, Gisele Bundchen, Alek Wek and Adriana Lima

I want when someone has an idea or a project, they say" Dee is perfect for that"

If you could have any job in the world other than modeling what would it be?

A CEO, LOL  they only get paid a small base salary annually but undoubtedly gets millions of dollars bonus at the end of the year. or a Gynecologist, they get paid $$$$. to bring new life into the world, and makes certain that a woman is healthy in her nether region.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I just finished my bachelor's so I have that to fall back on if I'm not the most highly demanded model around.. I'll probably still be in the industry but behind the scenes somewhere managing someone or whatever, as long as i have that corner office on the 25th floor of some building!

Do you have a website?

No not yet,  I've been thinking about it and what I want it to be like and the contents and so on...maybe really soon..but in the meantime, you can find me on

www.twitter.com/deefamouss

www.myspace.com/datjamaicanbitch

Are you a good dancer?

What?!!! I'm Jamaican baby, I'm a BADASS dancer lol, but my dancing is more sexual like a erotic dancer without the pole lol or I can have the pole, whatever.. but yeah I can put it down on the dance floor, shake it and twerk it and all that good stuff.. I got some elastic in my waist so I can keep any guy entertained, long enough.

Would you ever spice things up by dancing for your man?

Oh hell yeah!! I want a pole in "our" room, whoever he is, yes I need a pole in my room!!!

there's nothing wrong with that, better I do it and he tips me than he goes out and have some other chick with her sweaty ass self all over him WITHOUT ME! always give your man what he wants/needs at home, or he'll go find it on the street, can't have that now can we?

What's the wildest thing you've ever done?

This will be so incriminating.. OMG! but this one time, I had sex in an airplane, not in the bathroom!!!! you know those late night almost empty flights, well I was on one of them and we were fooling around and ended up doing it..It didn't look really obvious I think.. but it was awesome, I think it was because we were drunk from all that expensive gin they sell up in the air lol

What's the wildest ting you ever saw?

Strangely enough I'm always in the best place to see the freakiest things ever. In Miami for spring break, my friend decided to bring home a random hottie off the beach and they had sex right in the living room of our hotel like they did not care I was right there and I was in awe. I couldn't help but stare and when she saw me watching, she went at it even harder, I walked away. I would have joined if I didn't so I just kept it moving..

So, does looks mean a lot to you when you're looking at the opposite sex?

most of the time, I don't have a specific look that I go for but I try to sort out the shorties and the nerds and the weirdoes that feel themselves for no reason.. but I'm pretty much approachable, I'll give you the time of day if you start you convo right, but if you are a hottie and come up to me being a jerk, I'll cut u off right then and there and ask you to start over, just because your worth looking at...lol

What type of man do you like?

I like a man that can stimulate me intellectually, but we can still have meaningless conversations, i want someone who when we are not having sex that I can chill with and watch a movie with and just be silly.. I want a man that appreciates me and my body and isn't afraid to show it.. I want a man that is strong enough mentally to fall back when he needs to or step up and defend his girl.. I like a man to give me roses, take me for lunch, open the car door.. CHIVALRY ISN'T DEAD!!!

Are you the romantic laid back type or are you a wild child?

I think I'm a mixture of both, like i can be wild and have sex in the most random public places and really don't care..  but there's times when i like the roses on the bed, honey, strawberries, body oil and all that, sometimes sensuality is all you need, you done even need to have sex, just the mood and the excitement can be orgasmic

Turn ons:

muscles! damn I love a sexy guy.. aggressiveness, I aint saying go mike tyson on me now, spontaneity, sensuality, cologne (calvin klien, gautier, burberry or curve green/soul and lacoste)

sexy lips, colored eyes (even contacts) smooth skin, umm.. lets jus say i love freaky guys :)

shy guys too.. oh and finally, how a brotha dresses.. oh my god! if you can put yourself together and not be too tight.. you have me..

Turn offs:

Bad breath, strange body odors, if you talk too much lol, if your too sentimental

if you smoke too much, dirty cars, slow computers, little education.. my man should not be dumber than me, i like when he attempts to be a know it all.. this list develops as we go on..

So I hear you're a big music lover. What do you like to listen to?

anything by.. trey songz, the brotha can sing! jim jones, mostly what we all hear on hot 97 and power 105 and busy signal, aidonia, vybz kartel they are jamaican - youtube them, you will love it!

What's in your CD player now?

you mean my ipod lol mostly mixtapes from my friends and some mainstream r&b and hip hop.

birthday sex- that is my jam!!!! best I ever had - who dont love drake right now?? a friend introduced me to role play be trey songs and I have been hooked!!!

What did you listen to growing up?

strangely my aunt loved Michael Jackson, so I heard lot of that and r Kelly - I still love him, genuwine, brandy, boys to men Gerald levert, Marvin Gaye, Luther vandross and some other people I don't remember their names but they not around now lol

Is there anything that really pisses you off?

yeah! I hate when people are two faced with me! I keep it real always, if I got something to say to you regardless if it offensive, I'm gonna say it.. I always ask for that level of truth with my friends

What makes you the most happy?

mostly I'm happy after mind-blowing sex, I mean MINDBLOWING!! where I have to stop and catch my breath an take a deep breath to calm my nerves and gather myself and giggle because it feels so good, and take a shot of patron and be at it again.. I fall asleep with a big ass smile..

What do you do for fun when you're not modeling?

I sleep or I'm at home on twitter and facebook.. myspace is boring now and every now and again, I party!! and get drunk and forget about what happened..

Are you a designer label type of girl?

not really, I'm a more "where its made" kinda girl. I'll buy anything if it fits right, no matter where I found it. I'm the shop around and save kinda girl lol

If I gave you the floor to do shout outs, promotions, or whatever. Who would make that list?

VBLAZIN DUHH!! LOL!!,  my Photographer Tony Watson for these beautiful pics..then there's GOD for making me such a beautiful person..

My mom for giving birth to me :) she didn't have to, & my dad

my uncle Famouss Gus, my dudes Quinn, Joe &Dedo &my baby sister Gina

  Unlimited Calling US/Canada $9.95

Photos by                                                                                                                  Tony Watson

I have moved nine times in the last two years. (Yay military life!) . My hair, my breasts, and my ass are real. Lol. When I was in high school I was really skinny. I am fiercely independent. I really, really, love turkey necks and pig feet. (See: answer to question about where I grew up.) I’ve been to jail twice. My major is fashion and my minor is anthropology. I was received a whole box set of porn for my birthday. I could keep going. Lol.

Where did you grow up? In Virginia. First in Virginia Beach then in a college town called Charlottesville. I’m a southern gal.

What's your favorite gadget? My husband’s dick.

How'd you get into modeling? Lol, by osmosis.  I always had people ask me if I was model, so I decided, “well why not?” Let me do this while I’m young and cute, and before my body is hit by gravity!

So what have you learned NOT to do since you've been in the biz? Shoot with any and everyone who wants to shoot you or put my name on just anything. You have to build a brand for yourself, and people won’t take you seriously if they see that you’ll just take any old job. Also, don’t hop on the agency bandwagon. Just because an agency or a manager is hot at the moment isn’t necessarily always a good thing. Work with people who will look out for your best interests. Go for management that will give you consistent, quality work and longevity in the game.

Where do you want to go with your modeling?

Right now I’m currently doing a lot of glamour jobs. I eventually want to branch off into more runway, hosting and promotional work . Basically, jobs that make more money. Really I just wanted to build my brand even more. I see calendars, videos; really I just want to hit the whole spectrum. I want to get to the point where I am easily recognized. I want to be known in the industry as a shrewd businesswoman and an excellent, professional model.

If you could have any job in the world other than modeling what would it be?

I actually do have other ventures outside of modeling. I’m a small business owner. I currently operate a private swim lesson business. (Private swim lessons with Mick LLC) I also design clothing, my line is called Pink Collateral.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

How about in three years? I see myself very comfortable, somewhere within the $250,000 tax bracket. I will have a bachelor’s degree. I will be a homeowner, have a successful fashion label, and own a clothing boutique with a core clientele in Northwest DC. I see myself as well traveled, wordly, and above all….happy!

Do you have a website?

Well,  www.mikelan.com drops this summer! I’m currently in the process of working with a graphic design team now. I’m a perfectionist and I don’t want to do a website unless it’s thorough. So until then: myspace! Lol . You can currently see me in all my half naked glory at www.myspace.com/mikela_n_stallion

Are you a good dancer?

Lol, so I’ve been told. I know how to wind my body pretty well. I’ve gotten a few marriage proposals lol.

Would you ever spice things up by dancing for your man?

Ya’ damn right! Been there, sure as hell did that!

What's the wildest thing you've ever done? Let’s refer back to that previous question, and then multiply it by ohhh, seven. I’ll let you figure it out.

What's the wildest ting you ever saw? A place where everyone was, ummm…very happy. Lot’s of love in the air.

So, does looks mean a lot to you when you're looking at the opposite sex?

Yes, but they’re definitely not everything. A man can be fine as hell and treat you like crap. So you definitely have to look for other qualities, such as loyalty, respect. Once the looks fade, then what are you left with?

What type of man do you like?

Secure, ambitious, funny, respectful. Get’s my quirks and loves me in all of my imperfection.

Are you the romantic laid back type or are you a wild child?

Both. I think in a relationship you need to have that balance. Know when to turn that freak switch on where you’re serving dinner butt naked in heels and then also know when to just chill and give your man a back massage.

Turn ons:

Confidence. Doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Someone who is comfortable in their own skin and doesn’t give a damn about what other people think.

Turn offs:

Insecurity, Passive aggressive behavior, narrow-minded people, the whole Republican party,

So I hear you're a big music lover. What do you like to listen to?

For me, no matter if it’s country, pop, rap, reggae, if I like what I’m hearing, more than likely I’ll cop it.

What's in your CD player now?

Adele, Robin thicke, Big Kuntry King, (“Da baddest” is my anthem), and of course, Lil Wayne.

What did you listen to growing up?

Omigod everything! From one spectrum to another. My mom was raised in the 50’s and 60’s so we had a lot of dowop going on. (laughs.) Stevie Wonder, Sade, Dead Poets, (yeah, my mom was a lil’ militant), John Coltrane, Donny Hathaway.

Is there anything that really pisses you off?

Yes. I cannot stand close minded individuals who feel like their opinion is law, and don’t have the capacity to look outside of their own dicks. Again, the Republican party. Also, laziness and  unprofessional models that ruin it for the rest of us.

What makes you the most happy? The place in life that I’m in right now. My family, my friends, my life. Knowing that I can look in mirror and know that I truly am happy with my reflection.

What do you do for fun when you're not modeling?

Travel, swim, sew, do free shoots, (lol),  dance, cook.

Are you a designer label type of girl?

I design my own clothes, so I would say I’m a Pink Collateral kinda girl! I prefer vintage, I like to mix high and low end designers. I like target, and I like Givenchy.

If I gave you the floor to do shout outs, promotions, or whatever. Who would make that list?

Shout outs to my husband, who holds me down like no other! Charles G of Import Eye Candy studios, Patrick Adams of 2starz, DJ Kay Slay, and a very big ups to Tony Watson who shot me for this feature! Thanks for the bruised knees, and the sore arms. (Inside joke.)
